1. Our commitment
Mavera Group Ltd, trading as Level Up Education, wants everyone to be able to access our information and education guidance services. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the design and testing benchmark for this website and work to remove barriers that place disabled people at a disadvantage.
We also recognise our responsibility as a UK service provider to consider reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.
2. Using this website
The website is designed so that you should be able to:
- navigate the main content and forms using a keyboard;
- see a visible focus indicator when moving through controls;
- zoom text and content without losing essential information;
- use the website on mobile, tablet and desktop screen sizes;
- understand the page structure through meaningful headings and landmarks;
- identify links, buttons, labels and form errors clearly;
- reduce or avoid non-essential motion through device preferences;
- use alternatives to dragging when controlling the university carousel.
3. Measures we have taken
Accessibility measures include:
- semantic HTML and a consistent heading hierarchy;
- a skip link for reaching the main content;
- keyboard-operable navigation, forms, carousels and contact controls;
- accessible names for icon-only controls;
- responsive layouts and readable line lengths;
- colour contrast selected with WCAG guidance in mind;
- text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative treatment for non-informative media;
- form labels, required-field identification and error notifications;
- support for reduced-motion preferences.
4. Conformance status and testing
The website has been designed and developer-tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements relevant to its current content and features. It has not yet undergone an independent third-party accessibility audit. We therefore avoid claiming perfect conformance and continue to review the site as content and browser technology change.
Testing includes keyboard-only navigation, responsive layout checks, automated accessibility checks and review of focus, labels, headings, contrast and reduced-motion behaviour.
5. Known limitations
We are not currently aware of a material accessibility barrier in the core website journey. However:
- linked university, social-media and other third-party websites are outside our control and may not meet the same standard;
- email content or documents supplied by third parties may vary in accessibility;
- new content or browser updates can occasionally introduce an issue that is not immediately detected.
If you find a problem, please tell us so that we can investigate and provide an alternative where reasonably possible.
6. Alternative formats and reasonable adjustments
If you need information in another format or require a reasonable adjustment to communicate with us or use our service, contact us by email or phone. Please explain the format or adjustment you need and how we can contact you.
We will consider the request promptly and aim to agree a practical solution. We do not charge disabled users for reasonable adjustments.
7. Reporting an accessibility problem
To help us investigate, tell us:
- the page or feature affected;
- what you were trying to do;
- the browser, device or assistive technology used, if known;
- the best way to contact you.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five working days and will keep you informed where a fix or alternative takes longer.
